Family tries to Save Therapy Alpacas in Stow

(Stow) -- A Stow family is running out of time to find a new home for their emotional support alpacas after neighbors called the animals a nuisance. Scott Westberg says alpacas Loretta and Scooby provide emotional support to his fiancee and son, who both have mental health conditions. The family allows the animals to live in their home, but neighbors say the pets create a bad smell in the area and that they've turned the backyard into their pasture and wrote to a city official about getting them removed. The officials say they have determined the animals violate Stow's nuisance ordinance, and currently the Westberg family now has until February 17th to re-home the animals.
