Fairview Park Schools Deal With Threat To Harm Students & Destroy Property

(Fairview Park) – Police and the Fairview Park schools say they have dealt with a threat made against the school system.

In statements issued Tuesday evening by the Fairview Park Police and the Fairview Park City Schools, they say on Friday, the principal of Fairview High and Mayer Middle Schools received an email saying some students were planning to harm students and destroy school property.  No details as to the nature of the harm or destruction were released by police or the school system.

Fairview Park police officers checked out the threat, and interviewed the students who were part of it, and determined there was no imminent threat.  The Fairview Park schools say they will take immediate action against the students.
