Freddie Kitchens said it took a lot of intestinal fortitude for the Browns to hire him.
"In saying that, it takes some – I won’t use any bad language, Mrs. Dee (Haslam) – but it takes some guts to do what they did and I appreciate that," Kitchens said. "I won’t let them down and all you have to do is sit back and watch because I know that I am not a popular choice. I understand that and I don’t care and in reality, I meant what I said.
