Coventry Township Woman Pleads Guilty to Killing Husband

AKRON – Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh announced today that Marcia Eubank, 50, of Linda Street in Coventry Township, pled guilty to killing her husband.

Eubank pled guilty to the following charges:

  • Murder with a firearm specification – a special felony
  • Tampering With Evidence – a felony of the 3rd degree
  • Abuse of a Corpse – a felony of the 5th degree

On December 9, 2017, Summit County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the Linda Street home after human remains were found inside the home by the homeowner’s son. The remains were later identified as those of 54-year-old Howard Eubank. Investigators determined Marcia Eubank shot her husband Howard in June of 2017, then cut up his body and placed the body parts in storage bins in the home.

Summit County Common Pleas Court Judge Kelly McLaughlin is scheduled to sentence Eubank on February 8, 2019 at 1pm.
