Murdered UH Nurse and Daughter's Family Speaks Out

(Cleveland) - The family of Mayfield Heights murder victims Rebecca Pletnewski and her daughter, 8-year-old Olivia Schneider, have released a public statement regarding their shared tragedy:

“Our families are overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and support we have received. We are so grateful for our amazing family, friends, community and especially the hard work of the Mayfield Heights Police Department and all of the Fire Departments and first responders.

Rebecca and Olivia were two bright lights in this world and will always be remembered and cherished by many.

We respectfully request privacy as we grieve.

 In the words of Olivia, ‘Choose to be kind and your world will be like a rainbow’ .”
