Former judge accused of stabbing wife to death

Shaker Heights - A former judge who went to prison for beating his wife now stands accused of her murder.

Multiple media sources are reporting that Lance Mason has been arrested for the stabbing death of his estranged wife, Aisha Fraser Mason, at a home in the 17600 block of Chagrin Boulevard Saturday morning.

Shaker Heights police were called to the scene shortly before 9:30AM.

One officer was injured when his cruiser was rammed by an S-U-V.

The officer is recovering in the hospital.Mason was barred from ever serving as a judge, and his law license was suspended indefinitely, after his conviction.

According to cleveland.com, he was hired as Cleveland's minority business development director, and still working for the city.
