(WILLOWICK) An early morning house fire claimed the lives of a wheelchair bound man and his service dog at about one in the morning on East 326th Street.
Willowick Fire Chief Robert Posipanka said officers from the Willowick Police Department attempted to rescue the man before firefighters arrived, but were unable to make entry into the home.
Neighbors say the man's dog was named Twister. No cause for the fire yet.
