(Cleveland) -- The Cleveland Police Department is helping residents safely dispose of unused medication on National Drug Take Back Day. The event will be held on October 27th and police say residents can stop by any police district to drop-off unused drugs. Residents dispose of the medications from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Drug Enforcement Agency says those who can't get rid of the medicine during that time should take medication out of the bottle, mix them with kitty litter or coffee grounds and throw them away.
