Newburgh Heights - In an effort to raise public awareness on the opioid epidemic, the Newburgh Heights Police Department will be hosting a public forum on the topic.
The event will consist of a highlight of their Safe Passages program along with a presentation entitled “Joey’s Story” which is about a family who sustained the loss of a loved one from this epidemic.
The event will be on Monday, October 8th from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The doors will open at 6:00 p.m.
Local treatment facilities will be on site to hand out materials and light refreshments will be served.
