Brook Park - People near the Brookpark Skateland may not be doing much skating there for the foreseeable future.
That's because the building caught fire early Wednesday morning, but so far it's unclear why.

Parma couple Janey and George couldn't believe it when they heard the news that the rink had caught fire. "We wake up at 5:30 every morning, and we happened to turn on the television and saw reports of smoke coming out of Brook Park Skateland, we were shocked," says Janey.
Fire investigators on scene say the building suffered heavy smoke damage, but so far it's not clear if the building is a total loss. They'll continue to work throughout Wednesday to assess the extent of the damages.
The blaze remains under investigation.
