(CLEVELAND) The 10th annual contemporary furniture show – F*SHO X – will showcase work by more than 40 local designers, makers and fabricators Friday, September 14 from 5:00-10:00 p.m. at HGR Industrial Surplus, (front portion of the building) 20001 Euclid Avenue in Euclid.
Founded in 2009, the Cleveland-based design show is presented by 44 Steel, owned by Jason and Amanda Radcliffe. A trailblazer in the design world and a local maker, Jason considers F*SHO to be a small business incubator and builder launch pad. Many of the makers who have participated in F*SHO over the years have become successful furniture design entrepreneurs.
Jason received national recognition when he competed in the first season of Spike TV’s furniture-building reality show “Framework” in 2015, hosted by Common. Jason was a finalist along with maker Freddy Hill of Freddy Hill Design in Lakewood. Fellow Framework maker Craig Bayens will also participate in F*SHO X.
Event sponsor HGR Industrial Surplus (https://hgrinc.com/we-sell-surplus/) buys and sells new and used industrial surplus and equipment to manufacturers, hobbyists, makers, welders, machinists and woodworkers. HGR is generously underwriting a portion of the food costs.
Thirsty Dog is this year’s beer sponsor, plus SOHO Chicken & Whiskey, Mitchell’s Ice Cream and the 216 Bistro and Barrio food trucks will offer delicious food options. Music will be provided by David Paris (Instagram: @partysweat and @secretsoulclub).
