(Cuyahoga County) - In Middleburg Heights, the new Fat Heads brewery, taproom and restaurant opens for business at 11am on Engle Lake Drive.
Owner and brewmaster Matt Cole says they hired an authentic German designer to create the 75,000 square foot complex that will produce 65,000 barrel of beer each year.
Cole tells Newsradio WTAM 1100, it took 4 years to bring the project to life.
Patrons visiting the bar and dining room will find themselves in an industrial atmosphere, surrounded by the brewery and beer in the making.
There's also a retail store, plus patrons can take a self guided tour of the production facility to learn about the brewing process.
Diners will find a beef up menu, with Fat Heads traditional extra large sandwiches, and for barbecue fans there's an on-site wood fired smoker.
Cole says he's looking to expand Fat Heads with new locations around the state, he explains that the crew brew business remains popular, as more players inter the field.
