(Kent, OH) -- Kent State Police are looking for a man who allegedly tried to abduct a woman on campus yesterday morning. Officials say a man approached the woman on the esplanade near the arch at South Willow and East College Streets and showed a knife, telling the woman to come with him. The woman told police she ran away and the suspect ran in the opposite direction. The University has sent out an alert to all students about the attack and the availability of the school's free safety escort service.
