Man Serves Sentence Of Scooping Up Animal Poop

(Painesville) - A Painesville man who was found guilty of criminal mischief started to serve his sentence on Monday morning.  Bayley Toth was sentenced by Painesville Municipal Judge Michael Cicconetti to spend three days after the Lake County Fairgrounds cleaning out animal stalls, saying "You act like an animal, you're going to take care of animals."

Toth began his sentence around 8 a.m. Monday, shovel in hand.  He was given the opportunity to comment for WTAM 1100 listeners, but never looked up when asked questions by our Robb Bailey and other members of the media.

Judge Cicconetti is known for handing down unique sentences that keep people out of jail, as long as they're willing to be humiliated a bit.

Toth's sentence also included following horses in the Lake County Fair parade, and cleaning up after them.
