AKRON - A 29-year-old Akron man has pled guilty to killing his Father.
Nathan Moynihan pled guilty to Voluntary Manslaughter and Felonious Assault today in Summit County Common Pleas Court and was immediately sentenced to 18 years in prison.
In February of last year, Moynihan attacked his father with a hammer, striking him several times in the head.
47-year-old Daniel Moynihan died four days later.
