Lake County says goodbye to a fallen hero

(Lake County) - Final goodbyes are being prepared for a Mentor police officer killed in a hit-and-run.  

The funeral for patrolman Mathew Mazany is being held today.  Mazany was helping with a traffic stop on Route Two on June 24th when he was struck. 

The driver kept going, but was later arrested. Mazany was a 14-year veteran of the Mentor Police Department.
