Anielski Honors CVCC Scholarship Recipients

INDEPENDENCE – State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Walton Hills) commended two students, Alex Dean and Brian Synek, for their exemplary academic performance that led them to be selected as Future Business Leader scholarship recipients by the Cuyahoga Valley Chamber of Commerce (CVCC). Future Business Leaders are selected from both Independence and Cuyahoga Heights high schools based upon a resume of accomplishments including academic and extracurricular activities, their discipline record, and their stated future goals.

“Both of these young men have outstanding potential to be successful as they soon begin their college careers, and I sincerely wish them the best of luck,” said Rep. Anielski. “I’m also thankful for the Cuyahoga Valley Chamber of Commerce and business community for showing their support for aspiring students.”

“I would like to thank the Chamber of Commerce for the opportunity to receive the scholarship,” said Alex Dean. “The whole event was an awesome experience that I was glad to share with my family and friends.”

“I am very grateful to the Cuyahoga Valley Chamber of Commerce for the scholarship and honor they bestowed upon me. The scholarship award will help me to continue my education at John Carroll University this coming fall,” said Brian Synek. “I truly appreciate the great opportunity that the Cuyahoga Valley Chamber of Commerce has afforded me through this scholarship.”
