(CLEVELAND) It's National Bike to Work Day and Bike Cleveland will serve breakfast and encouragement at hubs around the city to encourage cyclists and non-cyclists alike to use pedal power to get to work.
"All the stops will have information about biking in the community and it will also have coffee and some sort of breakfast, baker, to stop and socialize with other cyclists," Jacob vanSickle, Executive Director of Bike Cleveland."Give people a place to re-energize on their way to work."
VanSickle says there are 65 miles of new bike paths in Northeast Ohio plus a shared bike system making biking more popular in the area.

Downtown @ The Bike Rack > 2148 E 4th St > Breakfast & Coffee via Bike Cleveland until 9:30am

University Circle @ Severance Hall > 11001 Euclid Ave > Coffee + “To-go” snack bags from uGO and CWRU Office for Sustainability
Cleveland Heights @ Edgehill and Overlook Road – one of Northeast Ohio’s most traveled bike routes. Free cyclist coffee and snacks from Phoenix Coffee at this hub

Kamm’s Corners > 5 Points Coffee & Tea > Free coffee 1 baked item for each rider in collaboration with Kamm’s Corners Development Corporation.
Plus, Greater Cleveland RTA are on board if you need help with your commute or the weather doesn’t cooperate. On May 18th, passengers with bikes ride free all day! They’ll also have a bus parked at The Bike Rack to show people how to use the front loaded bike racks you see on all the buses in their fleet.
