Mentor Man Stabs Girlfriend To Death; Surrenders To Police

MENTOR - Authorities in Mentor are reporting that a 38-year-old man has turned himself into police in the death of his girlfriend.

Mentor Police say the received a call from the man shortly before 2:30 Thursday morning saying he had just killed his live-in 35-year-old girlfriend, stabbing her during a domestic distrurbance. 

The suspect immediately surrendered to police when they arrived to the residence on South Villa Marina Court.

The man will be arraigned Friday morning at 8 a.m. in the Mentor Municipal Court. His name, and that of the victim will be released at that time.
