AKRON- A recovery counselor at Akron's Oriana House has been accused of sexually assaulting two women.
42-year-old Todd Matthews, faces two counts of third-degree sexual battery and, authorities say, more charges could be possible, pending the outcome of an investigation.
The Sheriff’s Office said a 31-year-old woman reported that her counselor drove her to a parking lot on May 4th assaulting her in the vehicle. Matthews was charged on the 9th, the same day a 29-year-old woman told detectives that she engaged in sexual conduct with Matthews in April at a residential correctional center.
The Summit County Sheriff’s Office is asking any other potential victims to contact detectives at (330) 643-8637.
