President talks tax reform, primary in Cleveland

Cleveland -  President Trump talked about the U.S. economy during a visit to Cleveland.

Speaking at a business roundtable at Public Auditorium Saturday afternoon, Trump said trade with China can no longer be a one-way street.

He drew applause when he noted the record-low unemployment rate.

The President said the Republican tax reform bill not only reformed taxes, but simply cut taxes.

Trump was joined by small business owners and other professionals who shared their success stories.

Many of them talked about how tax reform benefited their companies and employees.

One woman thanked the President, telling him that the tax cuts had saved her family $1400.00 a year.

The President also made it clear that he's supporting Jim Renacci in the GOP Senate primary in Ohio.

Renacci will face Democrat Sherrod Brown in November if he wins the Republican primary this coming Tuesday.
