(Cleveland) - The local chapter of the American Red Cross is in desperate need of blood donations. The local chapter says it is critically low on supplies of Type-O negative, Type-B negative and Type-A negative.
Type-O is the universal blood type which is always in high demand by local hospitals. Christy Peters with the local Red Cross chapter says they serve more than fifty hospitals in a 19 county area.
She says they need donations of five hundred pints of blood daily to meet the needs of those hospitals.
