(Elyria) - A 13 year old Lorain County girl is suspected of posting a threatening message that alarmed school leaders today.
Officers from the Lorain County Sheriff's office were called to Midview Middle School in Eaton Township.
Administrators there told officers that a student had allegedly sent out a message on social media, about blowing up the school.
During questioning a detective said the girl confessed to making the threat, but no weapons or explosives were found during a search of her locker and belongings.
She taken to the Lorain County Detention Home as the investigation continued.
