Big Fun is closing its doors for good in June

Big Fun

(Cuyahoga County) - A Cleveland Heights toy store that USA Today praised as one of their favorite  non-big-box shops, will be closing its doors for good in June.

Big Fun sells toys, comic books, and other items that you remember from your childhood.

The Coventry Road outlet is one of northeast Ohio's most popular stores because of its huge selection of classic toys, but owner and founder Steve Presser says its time to go.

Presser tells Newsradio WTAM 1100, he just turned 60, and had some friends recently pass away, he's worked at this for 27 years, so it's time to go.

Presser admits it was a very difficult decision because he loves what he does, loves his customers, and the City of Cleveland Heights.

The store is cram-packed with Legos, GI Joes, classic gaming consoles, comic books, Cleveland and Ohio momentos, pranks, gags, Rock & Roll, trading cards, t-shirts, collectibles, and party supplies.

Startng Friday, all are for sale at 50 percent off.
