A Power Outage Disrupts Travel At Hopkins Airport

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport in Cleveland, Ohio

(Cleveland) - Things went dark for a brief moment Tuesday morning at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.  Power went out about 2:20am before back-up generators quickly kicked in.  Crews were able to recommission an old substation to bring the airport fully back online about 6:20am.  The cause of the outage remains unknown.  Two dozen flights were delayed and three more were canceled due to the outage.
