(Lorain County) - North Ridgeville Police are looking for a suspect who shot a woman in a vehicle on Bender Road at Taylor Parkway. The call came in at 12:18pm. Officers were alerted by a witness who saw the car roll backward off the road.
Investigators say the suspect left in the scene in a vehicle. The victim was rushed to MetroHealth Medical Center. Detectives believe the perpetrator has left the area.
It's reported that the victim was a worker for Invacare and was on her lunch break in an area where employees go to smoke.
The suspect is believed to be in his 20s, and fired multiple shots in the vehicle, which was a white Lexus.
