(Cleveland) - On this Giving Tuesday, Cleveland Bishop Nelson Perez is urging those in a generous mood to visit WeGiveCatholic.org.
He tells Newsradio WTAM 1100, that way Greater Clevelanders can support all sorts of initiatives and causes, from schools, to institutions and causes. Perez explains there are about 175 to choose from.
Last year, they raised $400,000, and this year they hope to collect a half million.
Meanwhile, Augie Napoli of the United Way of Greater Cleveland says they are collecting funds to fight the opioid epidemic.

Napoli tells Newsradio WTAM 1100, 800 Greater Clevelanders will die this year due to addiction to opiates, and this cannot be allowed to continue.
