Deer Rescued in Lyndhurst

Lyndhurst Deer with Pumpkin on Head/Lyndhurst Police FB

(Lyndhurst, OH) -- A deer is running free in Lyndhurst without a plastic bucket on its head.  Police say three officers cornered the animal this past weekend to remove the pumpkin-shaped bucket that was affecting its ability to eat and drink.  Several residents of Lyndhurst and South Euclid spent the past two weeks trying to rescue the deer, whose survival was threatened by the bucket covering its mouth and nose.
