(Cuyahoga County) - Clevelanders are invited to make the city’s parks greener this Saturday by Planting with a Purpose.
This project, in collaboration with Petitti Garden Centers and R.A.K.E., is aimed at beautifying the city with more than 4,000 shrubs and bushes at various city parks.
Hundreds of volunteers will join forces at several parks across the city on Saturday, October 28th, along with Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson, A.J. Petitti, of Petitti Garden Centers which is donating the plants, Ricky Smith of Random Acts of Kindness Everywhere #RAKE, who's volunteers are planting the shrubs and bushes, and MTD Products, which is providing the supplies & ATVs. ‘
Planting with a Purpose begins with a Saturday 9:30am rally in the Upper Parking Lot of Gordon Park, 801 East 72nd Street.
Planting begins at 10 o'clock. Planting Locations:
