(Cleveland) - The Indians will have increased security in place for the playoffs, but Tribe spokesman Joel Hammond says it will be similar to the procedures the Cavaliers had during last year's NBA Finals.
They are expanding the security perimeter to cover Gateway Plaza.
Hammond advises getting to ball park at least a half hour early so you don't miss any of the opening festivities. The Indians grounds crew is busy getting the field ready for the playoffs.
Hammond admits the field does take a beating during the regular season, but promises it will look great on Thursday night.
