Clevelanders help hurricane victims in Puerto Rico

Hurricane Maria relief at San Lorenzo Social Club

(Cleveland) - The San Lorenzo Social Club on West 33rd Street at Clark Avenue is taking donations for the hurricane victims in Puerto Rico.

They need non-perishable items like bottled water, cans of food that can be opened without a can opener, clothing, diapers, baby formula, etc.

Items can be dropped off Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon until 6pm.

Club members say they have not heard from friends or family in Puerto Rico since Hurricane Maria struck the island and knocked out power.
