AKRON- In a statement, Akron Police say 17-year-old Xavier McMullen died of a gunshot wound to the head.

It started when two women were sitting in a van on 10th Street around 10 pm Friday, when they were approached by three men.  According to police, one of the three men then showed a gun and began demanding money.

Police later arrested the three men when their investigation took them to a home on 7th Street, placing the three in separate police cruisers.

While investigating in and around the home, the officers heard a shot from one of the vehicles and ran out to find McMullen "mortally wounded".

The other suspects, 18-yr-old's Matthew Allen and Anthony Riss are charged with aggravated robbery and are awaiting arraignment in summit county jail.
