(Lakewood)- A Lakewood woman is challenging a breed ban in the city that bans pit bulls or those dogs classified as vicious. Jennifer Scott has had her dog Charlie, that resembles a pit bull, for months. She says she was given permission to keep him when she adopted him as a puppy. When Charlie slipped his collar and a woman took him to the pound-- Jennifer was told she would have to have a hearing in order to keep him. Today (Wednesday) she is holding a peaceful 'I'm with Charlie' rally outside Lakewood City Hall. Scott will have a meeting at City Hall at 3 p.m.
