The “Cassidy’s Hope Poker Run” takes place on Saturday, July 15th. The Cassidy Hope Foundation honors Cassidy Erin Jackson and carries on her spirit, love, inspiration, and most of all, hope, that one day a cure for childhood cancer will be found.
Their mission is to bring awareness to the world that childhood cancer exists. To let people know that it is different from adult cancers, must be treated and researched that way, and to aid families during treatment.
The foundation take gifts to the children at Akron Children’s Hospital throughout the year through their "Love, Cassidy" program. Cassidy's Hope Foundation is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization.
