(Cleveland) - A grandson of Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson is in trouble with the law. Frank Q. Jackson Junior is charged with illegally possessing a gun.
The attorney for the 20-year-old defendant argued for a low bond for his client. Jackson has worked for the city's sewer department for about eight months.
He was released Monday on a personal bond. In a statement released by the Mayor, he says “Frank is my grandson and as any parent or grandparent who has raised children in a challenging environment knows, there is a constant worry about their well-being.
This is a family issue that is both deeply personal and painful to me and my family.”
