DAYTON (AP) - A company named for the Wright brothers is reviving a bicycle business once operated by the aviation pioneers.

The Dayton Daily News reports Wright Brothers USA will assemble custom-built bikes inspired by those sold at the Wrights' store in Dayton before their famed 1903 flight in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.

The new company is opening a store in Dayton just a few doors down from where the Wrights launched their careers.

Company owners say they've chosen a Wright relative as "test pilot" for the new bikes - Orville and Wilbur Wright's great-grandnephew Stephen Wright.

Wright says bicycles were the vehicle that got the brothers "off the ground."

The company, which sells items like flight jackets, sunglasses and luggage, licenses the Wright name.
