Kent State Marks Shooting Anniversary

(Kent, OH)  --  Kent State University is commemorating the campus shootings that rocked the nation in 1970. Students began marking the 47th anniversary last night with a candlelight vigil in the parking lot where four students were killed and nine wounded by Ohio National Guard troops. A midday noon ceremony in the Kent State Commons will feature guest speakers and a bell ringing for each victim.
