(Euclid) – More information has been released for the funeral of Robert Godwin Sr., the 74-year-old man shot dead Easter Sunday along East 93rd Street as he walked home from a family celebration.
Godwin’s funeral on Saturday, April 22, will begin at 11 a.m. at River of Life Church, 24600 Lake Shore Blvd. in Euclid. The funeral is open to the public. There will be a wake before the funeral at 10 a.m.
The funeral will be followed by a procession to Lake View Cemetery.
Euclid Police say funeral parking will be available in a fenced-in lot at 23802 Lake Shore Boulevard, and on side streets. The handicapped drop-off will be at River of Life’s driveway entrance on East 246, south of the intersection with Lake Shore.
