The Gunfire On Cleveland's West Side Wasn't Real

(Cleveland) – A lot of people from Cleveland’s west side called 911 early Friday morning to report the sound of gunfire, but it wasn’t real gunfire.

The gunfire coming from a home near West Boulevard and Edgewater Drive between 12:30 and 2:30 a.m. was for a movie shoot.  The area is near the west end of Edgewater Park.

It wasn’t said which movie the gunfire was for, but two major movies are being shot in Cleveland, one starring Matthew McConaughey, the other starring Bruce Willis.

Cleveland Police and Cleveland Metroparks Rangers both received a number of 911 calls about the gunfire, so police took time to explain the situation to callers.
