(Euclid) – A Euclid Police officer is on paid administrative leave after the officer shot a man to death Monday morning.
Shortly before 7 a.m. Monday, Euclid Police were called out to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on South Lakeshore, near East 215th Street. During that call, a Euclid Police officer shot a man believed to be in his 20s. That man eventually died.
A Euclid Police officer was taken to the hospital for a medical evaluation.
Euclid Police have called in the Ohio Attorney General’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation to look into this situation.
