(Green) -- A threatened species of bat could delay construction of a natural gas pipeline in northeast Ohio. Federal wildlife officials say northern long-eared bats have been found in Summit and Medina counties near the path of the proposed NEXUS pipeline. The designation means trees in the bats' habitats can't be cut down between April and September. Opponents of the project are hoping the creatures can keep construction on hold indefinitely.
