According to a Coast Guard investigation, the OceanGate CEO involved in last year's Titan sub disaster had crashed other submersible years earlier.
A former OceanGate employee testified that company founder Stockton Rush was piloting the Cylcops 1, a precursor to the Titan, in 2016 when he crashed it into Andrea Doria's shipwreck off the coast of Massachusetts.
After the Cyclops got stuck, the employee says Rush refused to hand over the ship's controller, then finally threw it at him, hitting him in the head.
The employee, David Lochridge, was fired two years later after raising safety concerns.
