Cavs blast Rockets for fifth consecutive win

The Cleveland Cavaliers led by as many as 45 points in Wednesday’s 124-89 blowout win against the Houston Rockets. 

The Cavs shot efficiently at 56.3% from the field, and 45.0% from three. Despite missing rookie Evan Mobley with a hip injury, defensively the Cavs had more rebounds and blocks than the Rockets. Darius Garland scored a game-high 21 points, Ricky Rubio led all players 12 assists, and Dean Wade recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. 

Now on a five-game winning streak, the Cavs (18-12) will begin a three-game road trip on Saturday at 9:00 PM against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks defeated the Cavs 112-104 in their last meeting on December 6th in Milwaukee (19-11).
