New Zealand man receives ten COVID vaccine shots in one day

A man in New Zealand received ten COVID vaccine shots in one day.

He reportedly visited 10 different clinics and was paid for each shot by different individuals – each of whom declined to receive a COVID vaccine but wanted to benefit from receiving one.

For example, the ‘My Vaccine Pass’ would allow vaccinated individuals, or those who apply and are granted medical exemptions, to attend restaurants and events by showing proof electronically.

Astrid Koornneef, the New Zealand Ministry of Health Group Manager, released a statement that, in part, discouraged seeking medical treatment under other peoples’ identities, amid potential, unnecessary medical risks for the individual and surrounding people.

In the same article, Helen Petousis-Harris, a vaccinologist and associate professor, cited “more fever, pains, and headaches,” for those that receive multiple shots among potential symptoms.

New Zealand has not named the man, nor has it identified where he took the ten COVID vaccine shots.
