The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Miami Heat on Monday, 105-94, for the team’s fourth straight win, and eighth in the last ten games.

Four Cavs starters scored double-digits, including Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, and Isaac Okoro, who each had at least 16 points, while Kevin Love added 23 points the bench. However, Lauri Markkanen had arguably the largest impact on the game with a +21 plus/minus.

The Cavs shot a higher percentage from the field and from three, and out-rebounded the Heat, 42-39. Cleveland also committed fewer turnovers, at 16-14.

Two weeks ago, the Cavs ended a 20-game losing streak in Miami. With this win, it is the team’s first winning streak against the Heat since the 2017-2018 season

If this season ended today, the Cavs would hold the four-seed with home court advantage against the Heat in the first-round.

The Cavs will host the Houston Rockets (9-18) on Wednesday, December 15th at 7:00 PM. The Rockets recently won seven straight games immediately after losing 15 games in a row.
