Kyle Hendricks tossed six innings of one-run ball as the Cubs cruised past the Indians 7-2 in Cleveland. David Bote had a two-run single and Anthony Rizzo and Kris Bryant belted solo homers for Chicago. Jason Heyward also plated two runs for the Cubs, who have won eight of their last nine games to improve to 12-and-3. Carlos Carrasco struck out seven, but allowed three runs in four-and-a-third frames to take the loss. Jose Ramirez and Francisco Lindor drove in runs for the Tribe, which lost its second straight to slip to 10-and-9.
