A Bottle Of Scotch Whisky Just Sold For One Million Dollars - The “Rolls Royce” of malts just hauled in a cool million at auction.
A bottle of Macallan Valerio Adami signed scotch whisky was barreled in 1926, aged 60 years and bottled in 1986. The bottle was numbered 5 of 12 and signed by the famed Italian artist, which helped bump the price. Adami, by the way, is the artist known for co-signing album sleeve for The Beatles’ “Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.”
This bottle that sold in Scotland is just one of 24 produced, and one of only 22 still believed to be in existence. They first sold for 27-thousand dollars.
