Indians Win 7 In A Row-Sweep Tigers-Red Birds On Deck Tonight

 

Edwin Encarnacion hit a grand slam and drove in five runs to help the Indians crush the Tigers 12-2 in Cleveland.  Francisco Lindor and Jose Ramirez each had three hits, including a home run.  Jason Kipnis also went deep for Cleveland, which won its seventh straight.  Adam Plutko was the beneficiary of the offensive splurge to pick up the victory.  Cleveland now leads Detroit and the Twins by eight games for first place in the AL Central.
