CLEVELAND--Mike Clevinger was scheduled to start Tuesday night, but he was out with Zach Plesac Saturday night in Chicago and missed the start. The absence of two starters created a ripple effect with the pitching staff as the Cubs Jason Heyward's three run homer in the sixth put the game out of reach as the Tribe fall to the Cubs 7-1.

Of course the "bad luck in Ohio" tweet relates to the Columbus Blue Jackets who lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning in FIVE OVERTIMES in Game 1 with the Stanley Cup Playoffs (round 1) and the Big Ten postponing their football season this afternoon.

Jon Lester pitched at Progressive Field in Game 7 of the 2016 World Series for the Cubs. Tonight, he pitched six innings as the Cubs offense scored five in the 6th inning with four runs off Cam Hill.

The story is what Indians starter Adam Plutko said about Mike Clevinger and Zach Plesac after the game for violating team rules over the weekend.

Indians will start Carlos Carrasco (2-1) on Wednesday Night against Kyle Hendricks (2-1....remember that name from 2016?). Hendricks was the Game 7 starter. Carrasco was out with an injury during the 2016 postseason.

Coverage begins with the Ken Ganley Kia Tribe Insider Pregame with Carmen Angelo at 5:05pm. First pitch at 6:10pm on Newsradio WTAM 1100/106.9FM and on iHeartRadio.
