Indians Stumble In Chicago, Slides Down AL Wild Card Race

CHICAGO--The Chicago White Sox took advantage of a struggling Shane Bieber (15-8) and a first inning overthrow at home plate by Carlos Santana en route to a 8-3 win over the Cleveland Indians.

Here's the game as told by the tweets below:

After the overthrow by Santana in the first, the White Sox jumped to an early 3-0 lead. Ross Detwiler (3-5) only allowed three runs in five innings on five hits. Detwiler received his first win since August 25th.

Jose Ramirez continued his hot streak with a solo homer in the fifth.

Tim Anderson was also a problem for the Indians as he was 4 for 4 along with two runs for the White Sox.

Terry Francona said after the game it isn't over.

Lindor, who was 0 for 5 talks about his struggles.

I expressed my thoughts on Lindor during my quick postgame show on WTAM 1100 and the free iHeartRadio App.
